I was looking for this book but when my friend handed me, I didn’t know that this is the one I was looking for. First I came to know about this book from Mel Gibson’s movie “Conspiracy Theory” (i watched the movie last year only, 2016). They mentioned this book and stories related to this book e.g. Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon. I almost forgot the name and glad that I have this friend Dodum Yangfo,  who let me read this book, and reminding me the song “we didn’t start the fire” where Billy Joel mentioned about this book.
Most of all I love the writing style, author let readers walk along with the protagonist and feel the world the way he did. If you think yourself as teenager(like the protagonist) you can walk downwards with all those “why things are like this”, “that’s enough I don’t give damn” kind of attitude, but in the end you will learn how a simple thing/people can bring positive change to your life, make you realize that you’re not a worthless piece of shit, peoples are not there to depress you.
If you didn’t read this book yet, I will suggest you to do some research and find facts related to the book, you will enjoy most. And I would like to end this review with a lovely quote from the book.
“If you do something too good, then, after a while, if you don’t watch it, you start showing off. And then you’re not as good any more.”
